Leveille-Guay's is influenced by the work of Gerda Wegner and Jim Shaw, along with classic painters such as Titian and Vigee Lebrun.
Pastiche elements from iconic moments in history play thought the work to manipulate the viewers expectation and identification of the moment.
Through these fertile elements of symbol and sign ,Leveille-Guay creates a surreal stage in which to play out the performance of sensuality and sexual identity.
